It’s matter of a few things.

1. Pagerank of the sitelink’s pages
2. Amount of traffic Google sends to the sitelink’s pages.

That’s it. Normally one can get a sitelink when one of his site keywords gets to #1 and receives a large number of visitors to that page.

I think sitelinks is a good sign to say Google likes your site, yes. But I still think it´s kind of strange that it´s not defined anywhere public what it takes to get them. Our site is about 9 months old now, and we got those links today. I read somewhere that you normally don´t get them until the site´s age is more than several years. But this isn´t necessary true then.

The effect won’t be felt so much by users as it will by advertisers. Users will still see the results on the SERP like they always do, just in a different order. The effect will be felt most by advertisers, who are paying for PPC ads because it gives them top placement on the most heavily clicked positions on the page. Now, it goes from being at the top of the first page to just being on the first page.

Seems to be a very unhealthy mixture of SEO and PPC – like a way to just buy top positions. What’s to stop Bing from making the whole first page ads, while they’re at it?

I am using it , for last 5 months , it can track only one page , as a result you will get to know no of people has visited your fan page not more than that , facebook weekly analytic mail has more detailed insights .

Its hardly new, its been in force since October but yes its interesting to see lots of folks have difficulty with quality scores and ctr’s now, I’ve certaainly seen an impact on clients with localised AdWords campaigns.
