Head of Online Marketing & SEO
Atelier Studios Limited is a leading digital media agency based in Southampton. Due to our developing client base we are looking to recruit a Head of Online Marketing/SEO with considerable experience in SEO techniques and online marketing campaigns. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate techniques used in previous SEO, PPC and SEM campaigns and have experience of managing client’s campaign, sourcing new business and reacting to new business requests.
Reporting to the company Directors, the successful candidate will head the Online Marketing/SEO team working on a number of external projects for a growing list of prestigious clients as well as contribute to some very exciting internal projects. Job Description:
- To administer and manage the company’s online marketing and SEO department.
- To manage and implement internet marketing campaigns, both internal, and external for clients, including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay per Click (PPC) Advertising and Social Media.
- Responsible for the creation, updating and sales of SEO Services including strategy, estimation of time and costs for the work.
- To manage and maintain the organisation of current and forecasted client accounts and campaigns, their accounts contracts, purchase orders, and initial and ongoing campaign work.
- To manage and maintain the administration of ongoing client accounts including directory submissions and article writing with internally or via suppliers and/or outsourced services.
- To organise and administer clients ongoing work in an efficient and orderly manner by liaising with the client.
- To ensure that all clients receive their monthly reports on the schedules defined within the client’s contracts or by the dates pre arranged with the clients.
- To organise and administer suppliers and/or outsourced services by arranging ongoing contracts, work requirements and ensure they adhere to our requirements.
- To manage the booking in of SEO related work both for the SEO department and web design and development departments.
- To manage and administer the renewals of current and forecasted client campaigns.
- To dedicate a set amount of time each week for new business calls and reacting to new business requirements from the directors.
- To update manage, maintain and update the sales plan for the SEO department.
- To develop new campaigns from start to finish including the specification of campaign web sites, optimisation of web sites and the management of Google AdWords and other search engine advertising platforms.
- To maintain the Atelier SEO website and associated social network accounts.
- To book in and manage work for other members of the SEO department utilising the daily studio updates sent on the previous day.
- To administer the Atelier Google and Social Networking accounts.
- To liaise with the Design and Development department on website requirements.
- Responsible for the training and education of SEO Account Managers/Engineers and share SEO expertise within the company.
Requirements:
Understanding of HTML is vital and an excellent knowledge of SEO, SEM, Online Marketing Tools (such as Google Adwords and Analytics Tools, Microsoft SEO Tools, Advanced Web Ranking, Xenu, Keyword Magic Pro, GSiteCrawler) is essential.
Other Duties include:
- Staff Reviews SEO Account Managers/Engineers
- Managing and maintaining the organisation of client accounts and campaigns
- Organising and administering clients ongoing work (including management of Article Writing and Marketing, Optimised Copywriting, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Link Building Activities, Website Usability and Traffic Analysis)
- Organising and administering suppliers and/or outsourced services
- Scheduling SEO related work both for the SEO and Web Development departments
- Booking and managing work for other members of the SEO department
- Organising and administering the renewals of current and forecasted client campaigns and provision of the monthly reports.
- Defining search services and packages (organic and paid)
- Sales and marketing messaging and collateral
- Ongoing current and new business development (including ongoing client management)
- Managing, maintaining and updating the sales plan for the SEO department
- Developing new campaigns from start to finish
- Maintaining the Atelier SEO website and associated social network accounts
- Administering the Atelier Google and Social Networking accounts
- Continued optimisation of client website and paid search activities
- Keeping abreast of industry changes and continuous process improvements
